What Do We Believe?


1. We are a Christ-centered, Bible-believing church.

2. We believe that the primary responsibility of all Christians is to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength and to love others as we love ourselves.

3. We believe the Bible is the Word of God, divinely inspired and preserved by God.

4. We believe Jesus is the Son of God. As God, he assumed human form and came to earth to live as a man. Being both fully God and fully man, he died for our sins on a cross, was raised from death, ascended into Heaven, and will come again to this earth at the appointed time. Jesus is the Christ, our Savior.

5. We believe the Holy Spirit is part of the Godhead. We believe He is God and is received by all Christians at the moment of salvation. The Holy Spirit permanently dwells with us and seals all believers, helping us to understand the Bible and grow in our Christian faith.

6. We believe that, by the Grace of God, we are saved from the guilt of our sins and placed in a proper relationship with God.

7. We believe in water baptism as the physical act of accepting God's grace and was commanded by Jesus at His Ascension.

8. We believe that God adds men and women to His Church as He sees fit based on their acceptance of His Grace. We do not join a Church. We can join a congregation.

9. We believe that every Christian should grow toward spiritual maturity. This is through obedience to, and study of, the Word of God, with the help of the Holy Spirit.

10. We believe that all who accept Christ and live faithful lives will be resurrected after death to dwell forever in God's glory and divine presence.
